Here are just a few pictures from Munich. The pictures from the Nyphenburg Palace are on the internal memory of my camera, so can't pull them off right now. But, here are some pictures from the main square in Munich. We also watched/heard the glockenspiel at noon (not pictured here.)
Here is our bus driver: Guy! Tres cool.
Here is our authentic Kebap dinnner. ;)
Well, again, thanks for following along!

Germany....and packing up!
Today we enjoyed walking/driving around Munich and seeing the sights here.
We also went on a visit to the Dachau concentration camp/memorial.
Finally, we did our final shopping - wahhhhh.
The internet here can't handle 40 teenagers on their smart phones, so it isn't letting me upload pictures. :(
Tomorrow bring and early (ugh) we all head to the airport.
Bye bye Germany!
If I don't post in the morning, thanks to everyone who followed along with us on our trip!

Germany Pix #1
Here are a few pictures.... above, we are in Liechenstein....
Neuschawnstein Castle....hiking our way up to the top.....we took a guided tour, but you are not allowed to take pictures inside. The Disneyland castle was inspired by this one.
Everyone was really tired on the bus ride from Neuschawnstein to Munich. Some stayed sleeping longer than others..... :D
Day 6 - Germany
Today we made our way from Switzerland to Germany. We stopped in the super big country of Liechenstein (sp?) on the way. :)
The Germany countryside was also very beautiful, and we enjoyed stopping at Neuschwanstein Castle too.
Fortunately the rain held off until we were leaving the castle, but it was quite a chilly day.
I think we broke the internet at the hotel, because I have been fighting with it for an hour and can't get pictures to load. :(
Let's hope it will load this post?!
Tomorrow we will see the sights of Munich and also visit Dachau.

Day 5 - Swiss Alps
Greetings from Luzern, Switzerland! Wowsers, it is hard to just pick a few pictures from here. Every where you look is absolutely stunning. Above is the lion carving famous in this city.
We enjoyed walking around this charming town and doing some shopping and eating.
Then we headed out of town to go allllllllllllllllllllll the way to the top of Mt. Riggi.
Oh la la!
We took a cog wheel train to the top and then took a cable car back down. Wheeee.
We were incredibly lucky that is was absolutely beautiful weather. :-)
Tomorrow we head to Germany bright and early!

Day 4 - A long bus ride + Switzerland!
Bonjour!
Well, today was a super exciting day on the bus. :-) As we drove and drove and drove alllll the way across France to Switzerland! Luckily, the French countryside is downright beautiful. Here are just some of the views. Many, many fields of rapeseed (which we call canola) were in bloom - bright yellow!
We made pit stops along the way, including the town of Beaune. It was a quaint little Frenchy town. We got sandwiches, lots of macarons, coffee, and ice cream. I'm not sure what Spencer and Brannon are doing in this picture?
So, we kept driving and driving and driving.... and finally we saw amazing mountains.
This was taken tonight directly across the street our our hotel. Oh la la.
Tomorrow we go meet the yodelers in the mountains! ;) And the kids think we are going to find a Yetti. :)
Until tomorrow.....

Paris Day 3....
Bonjour!
Today was a very busy day, whew!
Goal #1: To be #1 at the Eiffel Tower - and we were! Whoa!
The kids were good sports and got up super duper early - left the hotel at 7:30 and went straight to the Eiffel Tower. We were determined to NOT wait in line for hours and hours and wanted to get to the top. So, we opted to go to this leg of the Eiffel Tower where you take the stairs up to the 2nd floor, and then get on the elevator to the very top. We were the first ones! Wowsers! So, we had to wait an hour and 15 minutes, but you should have SEEN the line up behind us. Whoa.

It was a beautiful clear view from the top. This is just one of the many....
Everyone at the very top!
After the Eiffel Tower we did some shopping. Well, the girls did some quick shopping and the boys were delighted I let them eat authentic French fast food from their chain called "Quick." Yum yum. Then we took the bus with our group to Versailles. Versailles is HUGE and we arrived at quite a busy time, but our tour guide did a good job getting us through. I took more pictures of the inside but here is our "serious sports picture" at Versailles.
After surviving the crowds at Versailles we had supper and then wandered around town a bit more, and now we are packing up because we have a looooooooong bus ride to Switzerland tomorrow. Yipppeee. You might not hear much from us tomorrow because we will be on a bus and then will be getting checked into our hotel.
Everyone is doing a very good job. Travel teaches you many skills: patience, flexibility, organization..... :)
I'll have to say, the other groups (teachers) are impressed with our kids. Props to us.
The kids can ride the metro like champs now, no more dawdling - we can cruise through like locals. :)
Bonne nuit!
